Leonard Coy Hilbrecht, age 79, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020. He was born on July 8, 1940 in Tram, Kentucky to parents Coy and Agatha (Hatfield) Hilbrecht. Leonard worked for 30 years as an electrician at AC Spark Plug. He enjoyed working on many projects, or “tinkering” as he would call it. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Leonard is survived by his daughters: Kelly (Joel) Rutherford and Kristi (Brad Fromwiller); grandchildren: Joel David, Kyle Jacob, and Miranda; sister, Esther Pendley; sister-in-law, Jan Hilbrecht; nephews: Timothy Hilbrecht, Matthew Hilbrecht, and Roger Lee Pendley. He was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Donald Hilbrecht; brother-in-law, Forrest Roger Pendley. A private graveside service will be held at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Those desiring may make a memorial contribution to the American Heart Association. |
