IVES, Linda Mae – of Davison, formerly of Las Vegas, age 70, passed away April 23, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held 11AM Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-3 and 5-8 PM Monday and 10 AM until time of service on Tuesday.
Linda was born in Flint, MI on October 1, 1948, daughter of the late Clyde and Beatrice (Witten) Walters. She married Darwin Ives in Flint, MI and they were married for 48 years before he preceded her in death in 2016. Linda was a member of the Davison Country Club and enjoyed going to Soaring Eagle Casino. She worked for 18 years as a plant manager for Lucas Cirtek then Lucas Donnely and finally Magna Donnely. She later worked for 5 years at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas as a ticket agent.
Linda is survived by her sons, Tim (Jill Dwyer) Ives and Tony Ives; grandchildren, Trey and Abby; special grandson, Jayden Congdon; sisters, Diana (Jim) Hoffman and Brenda (Mike) Lipp; sisters-in-law, Sally Simpson and Carol Ives; many nieces and nephews; special life-long friends, Dick and Kaye Panchula; special gambling cousin, Pam (Ollie) Tatro. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
