YOUNG, Fredrick W. “Fred” - Of Flint, age 59 died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at University Hospitals - Ann Arbor.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Flint Wesleyan Church, 3825 Davison Road, Flint,
Reverend Thom VerWys officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 1-8p.m. Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mr. Young will be at the church 10a.m. Saturday until the time of the service.
Fred was born in Flint, Michigan on November 19, 1951, son of the late Edward and Bernadine (Gilbert) Young. On May 19, 1973, he married Gloria Martin in Flint. Fred loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed reading his bible and reading to his grandkids. He was a member of Flint First Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are wife, Gloria;
children, Andrea and husband Mario Villarreal, Nathan Young , Rebecca and husband Tom Poupore;
10 grandchildren;
brother, Edward and wife Marlene Craine;
mother-in-law, Marian Martin.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Garnet W. Martin.
