ONDOVCSIK, George J. – of Davison, age 83, passed away September 7, 2011 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 12:00 PM Monday, September 12, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 am – 8 pm Sunday and 11 am – 12:00 pm Monday.
George was born in Flint, MI, son of Michael and Mary (Peti) Ondovcsik. He married Margaret Atkinson in 1961 and she preceded him in death on March 3, 2004. George proudly served his country in the US Navy. He worked as a carpenter and loved to hunt and fish.
George is survived by his daughter, Melinda K. (Tim) Hager; stepdaughter, Martha (Norman) Anderson; stepgrandchildren, Rick Antisdel, Vicki Zamora and Chris Anderson; sister-in-law, Ramona; special friends, Dianne and Jim Erlenbeck. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret; sisters, Mary, Anna, Agnes, Maryann; brothers, Andrew, Michael and Joseph.
