BOWERS, Tamara J. – age 78 , of Byron, our dearest mother, grandmother, great-grandmother passed away on October 11, 2019, peacefully, with her family by her side. Memorial service will be held 2 PM Sunday, October 27 at Sharp Funeral Home, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held at 1 PM, until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Humane Society of Genesee County.
Tamara was born December, 17, 1940 in Northville, Michigan, the daughter of Gordan and Joan Cox. She married the love of her life, Elwood, July 18, 1958, in Holly, Michigan. Tamara enjoyed traveling, animals, studying family genealogy, gardening, and she loved spending time with her family. Tamara was a great friend, and was proud of all the long-term friendships she maintained through the years. She will be dearly missed. Tamara is survived by her children, Trudi Wallace, Paula (John) Steele, Christopher (Valeria) Bowers; grandchildren, Danielle, Timothy, Aaron, Natasha, Sarah, Cherish, Tyler; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Gabe, Gavin and Seth; many nieces and nephews.
