Passed away after a lengthy illness with family by her side, Monday, April 8, 2019, at Covenant Glen Frankenmuth; age 83 years. Margaret was born on March 28, 1936 in Flint, MI to the late Louis and Marie Williams. She was married to Arthur Straw on May 7, 1960, he survives her. Margaret was employed by General Motors- AC Spark Plug. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and IBG Girls in Flint.
Surviving besides her husband Arthur are: 2 sons; Allen Straw of Burton, MI, Scott (Kimberly) Straw of Florida, 4 grandchildren; Michael (Kristi) Straw, Eric Straw, Justin Whitney, and Kayla Whitney, 3 great-grandchildren; Kingston, Sophia, and Isabella, 2 brothers; Bob Williams, Jack (Julie) Williams, and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by: 2 children; Bruce Straw and Christine Straw, brother and sisters; Lucille (Jack) Harney, Elton “Bud” (Melita) Williams, and Evelyn (Lloyd) King,
sisters-in-law; Patricia Williams and MaryLou (Paul) Bader.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Rd., Frankenmuth, Michigan. Fr. T.J Fleming will officiate with burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery 4142 Flushing Road in Flint. Margaret’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a Rosary Service on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to a charity of the donor’s choice.
