PAULSON, Charlotte Anne. - of Flushing, formerly of Clio, Michigan, age 86, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Birch Run Fields of Birch Run. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Mayfair Bible Church - 5339 W. Pierson Rd., in Flushing. Pastor John Lillie officiating. Burial in Thetford Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday from 3PM until 8PM and at the church on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Mayfair Bible Church in Flushing, Countryside Bible Church in Jonesville, The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, or The Clio Fire Department Inc.
Charlotte was born October 12, 1933 in Flint, Michigan, to the late Clifford and Sabra (Wager) Culver. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School. Charlotte earned her LPN degree from Mott Community College in 1977. She later earned her degree in Christian Education from Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music in 1986. Charlotte married Kenneth Lynn Paulson on June 6, 1952, in Mt. Morris. He preceded her in death on January 3, 2016. She was a member of Mayfair Bible Church in Flushing, and Hudson First Baptist Church in Hudson, Florida. She loved to teach children and ran a Good News Club in her home for many years. Charlotte was a director with Child Evangelism Fellowship in Hillsdale County. She worked at McLaren Hospital from 1977-1983, Litchfield Manor from 1986-1992, Maple Woods Manor from 1992-2006, and Fostrian/Heartland Hospice from 2007-2010. Charlotte enjoyed Bible study, reading, and flower gardening. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are: Sons: Kerry (Carol) Paulson of Clio, Kenneth J. Paulson of Flushing, Timothy (Julie) Paulson of Chesaning, and Richard (Karen) Paulson of Redington Shores, Florida; Daughters: Anne (John) Lillie of Jonesville, Diane Spencer of Floral City, Florida, and Kathleen Robinson of Swartz Creek; 22 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; Brothers: John (Ethel) Culver of Clio, and James (Lena) Culver of Grand Blanc; Sisters: Mildred (Fred) Gaddis of Fairmount, Indiana, and Margie (David) Lester of Grand Blanc.
