RUTTER, Kenneth L. – Very loving husband, father and good friend, of Flint Township, age 77, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Monday and 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Kenneth was born in Flint, Michigan on July 17, 1935, the son of the late Jack and Mary Rutter.
He graduated from Sacred Heart in Flint in 1953.
He married Wanda Arthur in Flint in 1999.
Mr. Rutter was employed by General Motors in Skilled Trades. He owned and operated Jim’s Garage & Liquor Lounge for 12 years.
He leaves behind his wife, Wanda;
two daughters, Katherine (Pete) Johnston of Arizona and Dana (Henry) Troka of Chicago;
step-sons, Craig Wolcott of Flint,
Brad and wife Denise Tankersley of Flushing;
many grandchildren;
many cousins and friends.
