HILL, June A. - Of Holly, age 83, died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Genesys Regional Medical Center with her family by her bedside.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Rev. David Lawless officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Private burial will take place.
Contributions may be made to the family.
Visitation 1-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
June was born in Goodrich, Michigan on June 30, 1932, the daughter of Walter and Helen (Welsh) Bellamy. On April 5, 1952, she married Albert Stroud Hill. They were married for 58 years. June was a devoted minister’s wife and Sunday school teacher. She also drove school bus for Carman-Ainsworth schools and was President of the Union for 10 years. She wrote several poems, gospel songs and short stories.
June leaves behind her children; Rick Sr. (Tarry) Hill, Kim (Greg) Maguffee and Lisa (Paul) Pratt;
grandchildren; Rick Jr. (Amira) Hill, Jeremy Hill, Joshua Hill, Leah Maguffee, Caleb Maguffee, Jonathan (Ciara) Gifford, Rachel (Ray) Yeager;
10 great grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews and Brother Richard Bellamy.
Mrs. Hill was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Albert S. Hill, grandson Joseph Hill, parents and daughter-in-law, Rebecca Hill.
