PUSCHEL, GARRY L. – Of Grand Blanc, age 83, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 at Kra-Nur Bristol Manor.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3222 South Genesee Road, Burton, Pastor Mark Matheny officiating.
Mr. Puschel will be at the church 12 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Leader Dog for the Blind or the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Garry was born in Flint, Michigan on November 26, 1941, the son of the late William and Sylvia (Nieman) Puschel.
On May 9, 1970 he married Carol Barney.
He was past member of the Flint East Lions Club. Garry and his wife opened their home to two foreign exchange students and raised two Leader Dog puppies; one went through the school with flying colors.
Garry was also a loving husband and father.
Garry was employed by AC spark Plug for 31 years, retiring in 1999.
Surviving are his wife, Carol;
son, Chris and significant other, Tammy Zaremba;
daughter, Heidi Horvath;
granddaughter, Alayna;
many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Norma Jean Vining and Ruth Sorrell.
