EX, Duane – of Davison, age 77, passed away November 28, 2014 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 12 NOON Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 706 W. Flint St., Davison; Pastor Todd Frusti officiating. Burial will be in Richfield Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Missions for LBT or Outreach East.
Duane was born in Flint, MI on October 8, 1937, son of the late Victor and Dorothy (Ankney) Ex. He married Marilyn Schiestel on July 15, 1955. Duane was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He was President of Davison Snowbirds in Palmetto, FL. Duane retired from GM after many years of service and was owner/operator of Meadowmist Tree Farm.
Duane is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marilyn; children, Cindy (Mike) Raysin, Vicky (Jim) Tye, Duane “Bud” (Paula) Ex, Jr. and Tammy (Kevin) Wetherwax; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy (John) Peterson; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandsons, Kevin Wayne Wetherwax and Jacob Victor Raymond Tye.
