PARKER, Dale Franklin – of Flint, MI, age 70, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Covenant Healthcare of Saginaw. A Funeral Mass with Military Honors will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, October 17, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. John Machiorlatti celebrant. Cremation will take place following the service with inurnment in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive visitors 12–7 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423. A Rosary will be prayed 5:30 PM Wednesday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
Dale was born in Flint, MI on June 4, 1949. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Dale married Theresa Roman on May 14, 1988. He worked and retired from GM. Dale was an avid bowler, and enjoyed playing and watching sports.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Theresa; children, Brian (Heather), Chad (Sonya), Jamie (Aron), Kim (Jesse), Karen; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in–law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Patricia; brother, Doug; his grandparents.
