LANDON, Etta Mae - Of Grand Blanc, age 87, left this life to be with Jesus and her loved ones on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Bob Tyler officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hemophilia/AIDS Foundation thru Hurley Medical Center.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 12 Noon Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Etta was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on August 29, 1924. She married James C. Landon, Sr. on December 15, 1942 and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1982. She was an accomplished seamstress who enjoyed keeping her home and caring for her family.
Surviving are children, Linda and husband Mike Chandler of Acworth, Georgia, James, Jr. and wife Elaine of Grand Blanc, Shelly Landon of Swartz Creek;
5 Grandchildren, James and wife Michele Landon III, Thomas and wife Regina Landon, John Chandler, Mei Chandler, Leah McCracken;
5 Great-grandchildren;
4 Sisters;
3 Brothers;
many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers.
