CONWAY, Marie - Of Flint, age 91, died Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Sugar Bush Manor.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1pm Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth Avenue, Flint,
Father Anthony Strouse officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to the Carman Ainsworth Senior Center.
Visitation 2-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Marie was born in North Boston, Massachusetts on December 14, 1925, the daughter of the late Jeffrey and Mabel Levangie and grew up in East Braintree MA. She moved to Flint in 1946. Marie was a volunteer librarian at Elmer Knopf, while also was very active in many organizations including March of Dimes as a Walk Co-coordinator, Parent Volunteer at Fenton Lawn Elementary School, Cub Scout Den Mother, an active volunteer at the Sunroom Senior Center in Sebring, FL. She also served on the Board of Trustees at Carman Ainsworth Senior Center.
Surviving are children, Robert (Judith) Conway of Williamston, James (Martha) Conway of Lakeview, Timothy (Terrie) Conway of Grand Rapids, Dawn (Doug) Metivier of Sparta, Robin (Stephen) D’Angelo of Swartz Creek, Donald (Darla) Conway of Flint; Daughter-in-law, Kay (Bryan) Bickford; Grandchildren, Dr. Robert (Dr. Vesna Kaluza) Conway, Marybeth Conway, Freedom (Jeffrey) Davis, Christopher Conway, Ian (Alicia Jakobcic) Conway, Molly Conway, Gabriel Conway, Aiden Conway, Kimberly Crawford Conway, Dr. Michael (Liz) Conway, Michael Salinas, Joshua Salinas, Joseph Salinas, Zachary Salinas, Michael (Melissa) Metivier, Hope (Dr. Ryan) Rooyakers, Daniel Metivier, Leah (Sean) Metivier Kearney, Joshua (fiance Bethany Hart) Metivier, Joseph D’Angelo, Mark D’Angelo, Kelly D’Angelo, Paige Conway;

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeffrey and Mabel Levangie, husband Robert Lloyd Conway, son, Patrick Conway, granddaughter, Kristen Metivier, brothers, Albert, Arthur, Frederick, Wilburt, John, Robert Levangie, sister, Jean Smith.
