Ratliff, C.J. (Craig Jr.) – Of Flint, age 17, died Monday, June 30, 2014, at home. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 7, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at Davison Missionary Church, 1481 N. Gale Road, in Davison. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6, 1-4 p.m. and 6- 8 p.m. at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Road. Visitation 10am Monday until the time of the service at the church. C.J. was born on January 16, 1997, and was loved deeply by his Dad and Mom, Craig Sr., and Kimberly Ratliff, best bud little brother, Riley “Hoo hoo”, and adoring sister Cami “Lizbet”. He was greeted in heaven by his sister, Charity. C.J. was a senior at Carman Park Baker Career Academy. He was looking forward to studying law and eventually a career in Business Law. He was a three year Carman Ainsworth High School Varsity Swim Team member, excelling in the 50 and 100 meter sprints. The Lord gifted C.J. musically; he was accomplished at coronet, oboe, french horn, mellophone, piano, ukulele, and guitar. C.J. loved air soft and spending time on the water. He is also survived and much loved by grandparents, Gary and Dee Kassuba, Margaret Ann Ratliff; aunts and uncles, Rhonda and Steve Tucker, Jeff and Theresa Kassuba, Cheryl Taylor, Steve and Ranee Ratliff, Randy and Tiffany Ratliff; and cousins Kira, Jace, Tawni, Ashley, Mariah, Melissa, Curtis, Ashley, Tayah, Alicia, Eric, Jason, Sarah, Courtney, Kyle, and Camden; and special friends Barbie and Dominique. He was preceded in death by his sister, Charity Ratliff, grandfather, Albert Ratliff, and cousin, Amy Taylor. Your condolences may be shared with the family at swartzfuneralhomeinc.com
