BOSKOWICZ (Lewis)(Gravelle) Joyce – of Flushing, Michigan, age 80, died Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland officiating. Entombment in New Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John Vianney Church.
Joanne was born January 3, 1939 in Flint, Michigan to the late Thomas and Eleanor (Divine) Gravelle. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and attended Sacred Heart class of 1957. On September 28, 1990 married Boguslaw Boskowicz in Flint, Michigan. She was a member of St Pius X Catholic Church in Flint, Michigan. She worked for the Dom Polski club part time for 20 years and enjoyed her time there. Joanne liked going to the casino, bingo, ironing, dancing, and was always a very sharp dresser. However, her greatest joy in life was her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: Husband, Boguslaw; Children, Diana Johnson, Vickie (Harvey) Hall, Gerald (Berta) Lewis, Donald (Karla) Lewis; Grandchildren, Brian Johnson, Melissa (Raymond) Quintana, Sheena (Brian) Donaldson, Heather (Kyle) Orlowski, Khrystal Lewis, Cheyanne Sheltraw, Hayleigh Lewis; 13 Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
