SNIDER, Della Mae – Of Flint, age 86, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Dave Hintz officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Della was born in Dexter, Missouri on July 26, 1929, the daughter of the late Pastor Joe and Florence (Wamble) Richardson.
On March 23, 1947 she married Walter “Bud” Snider and he preceded her in death in December of 1988.
She loved her flower gardens, butterflies and birds and her time at the Burton Senior Center. She also loved baking and most of all her grandchildren.
Surviving are daughter, Vonda (Joseph) Hyldahl;
seven grandchildren, Deidre Snider,
Erin (Jeff) Luostari,
Jennifer (Dan) Reed,
Victoria, Christian and Mark Newland
and Cassie Pratt;
four great-grandchildren, Jayden, Emma and Olivia Luostari and Traeven Schanche;
nephew, Dick (Linda) Bridges and niece, Carolyn Allison.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Scott and three sisters.
