Michael B. Klida of South Branch, Michigan passed away April 18, 2015 in St. Mary's Hospital of Saginaw after a sudden illness at the age of 69.
Mike enjoyed life with friends, always trying to make everyone laugh. He loved camping, fishing, hiking and playing croquet with friends all around. He retired from AC - Local 651 in Flint, Michigan after 31 1/2 years of service. He served our country proudly in Vietnam. In addition to many medals, he was awarded the Bronze Star medal with "V" device for valor and the Army Commendation.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Nona P. Klida who has resided in South Branch for 20 years. His sister, Suzanne Petkoff of Flint. His children; Scott (Tresa) Klida, Kelly Klida and Nicole Palmer. Four grandchildren; Christopher, Matthew, Patrick and one granddaughter, Angela. Nieces, Kathy (Daryl) Baning and their children; Dina (Michael) Simpson and their daughter Brianna. Two step-sons; Jeffrey (Jodi) and their children; Christopher and Britney Evans of Montrose and John (Stacy) Evans also of Montrose. He is also survived by many friends who loved him very much. He is preceded in death by his father, Bernard Klida, step-mother, Mary Lou Klida and his brother-in-law, George Petkoff.
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. "May you rest in peace my love, your were the love of my life."
