HUSTON, Russell R. – of Clio, age 74, died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at his residence with family by his side. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Dan Shinabarger officiating. Burial in West Vienna Cemetery with full military honors. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4PM until 8PM and Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Contributions may be made to New Covenant Free Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
Russell was born June 29, 1943 in Missaukee County, Michigan to the late Floyd and Kittie (Salmon) Huston. He was a 1961 graduate of Manton High School. Russell married Mary A. lawton on October 10, 1964. She preceded him in death on July 11, 2012. Russell is a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Huston retired from Buick in 2000 with 35 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #599. He was also a member of New Covenant Free Methodist Church in Clio. Russell enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and spending time outside.
Surviving are: Son, Steven (Gloria) Huston of Fremont; Daughters: Paulette Mann of Florida, and Annette Huston of Clio; 9 grandchildren.
