LARSON, Patricia A. – of Mt. Morris, age 62, died Friday, January 27, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 520 Butler Street, Clio. Rev. Erik Cloeter officiating. Cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors at Messiah Lutheran Church on Tuesday from 12PM until 8PM and on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or Messiah Lutheran Church.
Patricia was born on April 18, 1955 in Escanaba, Michigan to Paul and Florence (Roshak) Masters. She graduated from Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School in 1973. Patricia obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Studies in 1987. She also earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration in 1989. Patricia worked in various locations as an administrative assistant for many years. She spent the last few years working for Genesee Intermediate School District as a Paraprofessional. Patricia has been a member of Messiah Lutheran Church since its establishment in 1960. She enjoyed volunteering at Vacation Bible School, helping with funeral dinners, and singing in the choir. Patricia also enjoyed bowling, singing, gardening, reading, and in her earlier years, fishing with her dad.
Surviving are: Children: Regina (Timothy) Phillips and David Canevit; Grandchildren, Eliot Phillips, Alexandria Phillips, and Jaxon Canevit; Mother, Florence Masters; Sister, Cheryl Canfield; Nephew, Danny Smith and niece, Emilee Smith.
