Bethany A. Jordan of Jackson, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024 at her home. Funeral service will be Friday, May 10, 2024 at 11am at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel. Pastor John Walworth will be officiating. Burial will follow to Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
Bethany Ann Balzer was born October 20, 1948 in Flint, a daughter of Harold and Sara (Hendrick) Balzer. At the age of 15 with her father's blessing she married James Jordan on May 9, 1964. Bethany loved to travel and go camping with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Bethany is survived by her children, Sandra (Kevin) Murphy, Tammie (Tim) Renner and Kellie Jordan; grandchildren, Ashton Murphy, Falynne Murphy, Kasey Klumpp, Kailee Phillips, Timothy (Taylor) Renner, Torrie Renner and Terrin (Austin) Letterman; great grandchildren, Charleigh Short, Kayden Klumpp, Hunter Phillips, Wrenlee Phillips, Finley Renner and Nova Fugate-Murphy; siblings, Lisa Stuart, Harlan Balzer, John Balzer, Tina (Greg) Witters, Tamara (Joe) Balzer, Billy (Debbie) Balzer, Vicki (Ron) Johnson and brother-in-law, Chuck Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Jordan; siblings, Cathy Smith, Patricia Veal, Cindy Balzer, Eddy (Donna) Balzer and Susan Johnson.
