MARTIN, Bonnie Jean – of Davison, age 83, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 at her home. A Funeral Service will take place 11 AM Monday, December 23, 2019 at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, 7524 E. Mt Morris Rd., Otisville, MI 48463; Pastor Alan Duce officiating. Burial will be in Richfield Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service Monday, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Richfield Church of the Nazarene or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Bonnie was born in Holly on April 22, 1936, daughter of the late Scott and Ruby (Nesbitt) Gray. She graduated from Davison High School and attended Olivet Nazarene University. Bonnie married Ed Martin on December 4, 1957 in Clio. She retired from Main Manufacturing in 1998. Bonnie had been member of Richfield Church of the Nazarene her entire life. She loved music and playing the piano. Bonnie loved spending time at “the cabin” boating and snowmobiling with family. Bonnie also loved camping, many times with her grandchildren. Her strong faith and her family was her life.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ed; children, Lori (Gary) Hastings, Lyn Terwilliger, Kelly Martin, Kathy (Terry) McClain; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Zudell; brother-in-law, Frank and Donna Martin; sister-in-law, June Warby. She was preceded in death by her sister, Pearl Heal and brother, Rev. Bob Gray.
