GIAN-NORMAN, Mary Francis – of Flint, age 66, passed gracefully from her body Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Genesys Convalescent Center. A memorial gathering will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Mary was born March 29, 1949 in Buffalo, New York the daughter of the late Guido and Ella (Bellanca) Gianfranceschi. She married Bruce Norman on July 11, 1981. Mary was a warrior who advocated for people from all walks of life. She left us a bright example of what it means to be what’s good in the world. She was an inspiring wife and mother, and her grandchildren were the light of her heart. Surviving her are: husband, Bruce; daughter, Kathleen and son in law Pete; grandchildren, Willow, Eva and Peety; sister, Anita and brother in law Ronald; brother, Michael; niece, Lauren and her son Logan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hurley Cancer Institute’s Mary’s Snugs and Hugs Fund to help patients in need and for cancer patient programs.
