WACASER-BECK, Mary Jeannine. – of Flint, Formerly Clio, age 83, died Saturday, August 13, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 11AM until 8PM and Saturday from 10AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Montrose Senior Center.
Mary was born August 30, 1932 in Flint, Michigan to the late Fletcher and Bernice (Thornberry) Langworthy. She married Emery Wacaser in 1952. She later married John H. Beck in 1990. He preceded her in death in 1991. Mary was employed with Target on Miller Rd. in Flint for many years and in the winter months worked at Target in Mesa, Arizona. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing Bingo, trips to the casino, bowling, baking and making candy. She was a very happy and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Surviving are: Son, Jeffrey (Richard) Wacaser of Houston, TX; Daughter, Yvonne (Terry) Cooper of Flint; 3 Grandchildren: Tiffany Frank, Colt Mabrey and Rachael Abernathy; 6 great grandchildren: Hannah, Lyli, Laura, Mallory, Alexis and Noah. She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles F. Wacaser in 1983 and her granddaughter, Little Mary in 1980.
