MARSHALL, Jeanne Marie. – of Clio, age 79, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Maple Woods Manor of Clio. Funeral services will be held at 4PM Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 1PM until the time of service at 4PM. Contributions may be made to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
Jeanne was born April 11, 1937 in Clio, Michigan to the late James Calvin and Kathleen Mary (Matteson) Allen. She attended Clio Schools most of her life and graduated from Flint Technical School in 1955. Jeanne married Gary Wayne Marshall on October 31, 1967 in Caro. He preceded her in death in 1996. Jeanne was employed with C&O Railroad in Flint for over 20 years. She loved Detroit Tigers baseball, shopping, spending time outside and trips to the casino. Above all, Jeanne loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Daughter, Tina (Matthew) Bouza of Clio; Jeanne was also a step mother to: Viran Douglas (Teresa) Marshall and Micheal (Sue) Marshall; Grandchildren: Bethany and Alyssa Bouza, Matteson Marshall, Natasha Lane, Tiffany, Steven and Gary Marshall and Rhiannon Bailey; Sisters in law: Patsy (John) Corder, Wanda and Blenda Marshall; 2 grand cats: Gloria and Kia Bouza; 1 grand dog, Princeton Bouza; Several nieces and nephews. Jeanne was also preceded in death by her son, James Marshall in 1998; Brother, Richard Allen in 1957 and companion, David Oltersdorf in 2016.
