De La Rosa, Feliberto "Al" – of Clio, age 74, died Monday, February 20, 2017, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, February 24, 2017, at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. David Hammon officiating. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9 PM and on Friday from 11 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM.
Feliberto was born May 10, 1942, in Munger, Michigan to the late Sirildo and Domitila (Dominquez) De La Rosa. He graduated from Beecher High School in 1962. Feliberto married Phyllis on November 1, 1965. He retired from GM's Chevrolet Truck & Bus Division with 30 years of service. He was also a member of UAW Local 598. Feliberto enjoyed riding motorcycles with his "Shoog." He also enjoyed sports cars, and Legos. Feliberto also collected model cars. He enjoyed drawing in his spare time and watching "the judges".
Surviving are: Wife, Phyllis; 2 sons: Alphonso De La Rosa of Clio, and Anthony (Rhonda) De La Rosa of Flint; Grandchildren: Alonso, Lexis, Lary'l, Arianna, and Le'la; Great granddaughter, Scarlett; Siblings: Sarah Cabalerro, Juan De La Rosa, Linda Alamen, and Stella McDonald; 3 brothers in law: David, Daniel, and Jim Hammon; Feliberto was also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph De La Rosa and sister, Mary Klein.
