STANLEY, Margaret B. – of Fenton, age 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Ascension Genesys in Grand Blanc with family by her side. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held at 11AM Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Lakeview Community Church - 10023 S. State Rd., in Goodrich. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the ASPCA
Margaret was born September 24, 1942 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to the late Carmen and Bernice (Relitz) Elliott. She graduated from Linden High School in 1960. Margaret married Ralph “Dale” Stanley on October 20, 1962. She was an Inventory Manager with AC Nielson for many years. Margaret was a very proud Avon President's Club Member for over 40 years. She loved looking for treasures at flea markets and enjoyed collecting antiques, baking and cooking. Margaret was a wealth of knowledge when it came to sports, history and telling stories. She loved her family with all her heart. Margaret’s granddaughter and great grandsons were the loves of her life.
Surviving are: Children: Susan Stanley of Fenton, Scott (Becky) Elliott of Davison, and Cynthia (David) Hayes of Fenton; Granddaughter, Courtney Stanley; Great grandsons: Kaiden and Beau; Sister, Ruby McDill; Lifelong friends: Gail Arnold, Shirley Wright, Carol Edwards, Phyllis Schultz, Myra Holsinger, and Mike & Shirley Hajec; Canadian family and cousins, many other loving family members and dear friends.
