Roberta "Bobby" Wieczorek
Age 83 of Owosso passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 4pm Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Nelson-House Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Saginaw on a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11am until the time of the service.
Bobby was born November 15, 1932 in Detroit, the daughter of Albert and MaryAnn (Maksimavich) Garbukas.
She graduated from Nativity High School, class of 1950 and married Robert Wieczorek on June 7, 1952 at Selfridge Airforce Base in Mt. Clemens.
Bobby was a homemaker and spent her life raising and caring for her family; especially her special needs son, Robert.
Bobby is survived by her daughter, Denise (Dr. Jawahar) Vachhani; son, Robert; 2 grandchildren, Alisha (Brian) Kalb and Dr. Raina (Nick) Voss; 2 great-grandchildren, Landon and Anna Kalb; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert and brother, Albert Garbukas.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit.
