INSLEY, G. Gary Pastor - Age 64, of Fenton, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2018. Funeral Services will be held 2PM Tuesday, May 1 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Mitchell Kingsley officiating. Visitation will be 11 AM until time of Service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Greater Harvest Christian Church.
Pastor Gary was born September 6,1953 in Buffalo, NY the son of George and Barbara (Lovell) Insley. He married Janet M. Ray in Flint on January 28, 1994. He was the pastor of Greater Harvest Christian Church in Fenton. " His Life was the Ministry and Leading Lives to Christ". Pastor Gary was a member of Kingsway Ministry and was "passionate about his church family". He loved music and playing all musical instruments and also loved golf. Pastor Gary especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are: wife Janet; children, Brandi (Eric) Wilson, Andrea (Jerry) Bennett, Tonya (Bob) Houck, and Jim (Jennifer) Cole; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Bev Mihalibabas, Walt (Vicki) Insley, Randy Insley, and Scott Insley; several nieces and nephews.
Pastor Gary was preceded in death by his parents; George Insley and Barbara Schwartz. On line tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
