SCHULTZ, Paul L. - of Montrose, age 58, died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on 4PM Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Pastor Bob Leming officiating. Cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service at 4PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Paul was born on November 1, 1959 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Ernest and Rosemarie (Weber) Schultz. He attended Reese Schools. Paul married Kathy (Gould) Schultz on July 7, 2017 at the Montrose Family Worship Center, formerly known as Christian Faith Union Church. Paul was employed at J.D. Construction in Manhattan, Kansas for many years. He worked at C&L Ward for the past 3 years, primarily specializing in windows and doors. Paul established the Alcoholics Anonymous program at the Montrose Family Worship Center 17 years ago. He enjoyed woodworking, his boat, and especially playing his favorite computer game “Battle Pirates” every chance he could. Paul also adored his Yorkies: Sally, Tommie, and Serious.
Surviving are: Wife, Kathy; Children: Timothy (Rachel) Schultz, Nicole (Roy) Cody, and Alesha (Mike) Seager; Grandchildren: Braxton Schultz, MaKaylee Schultz, Gaven Cody, Marcus Cody, Brady Cody, Malia Seager, and Jacob Seager; Brother, Ernest Schultz; Sisters: Rosanne Hasty, Gwendolyn Schultz, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
