PAVLOVICH, Thomas – Of Flushing, age 86, died Saturday, May 16, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 4133 Calkins Road, Flint,
Father Pierre Bassil officiating.
Burial in St. Roberts Cemetery in Flushing with a military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Post #3243 Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening followed by an Incense Service at the funeral home.
Mr. Pavlovich will be at the church 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the Mass.
Thomas was born in Ironwood, Michigan on June 5, 1928, son of the late Marko and Julia (Sertich) Pavlovich.
On September 17, 1949, he married Flora Trier and she passed away on January 17, 2015.
He was a former member of St. Agnes Church and a current member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church.
Surviving are children, Joseph (Lily), James (Diane), David, Robert (Liz) and Raymond (Carrie);
grandchildren, Michael (Angela), Darcey, Jamie, David Rizik, Bertie (Brandon) Stevens, Mazie, Twyla, Jennifer (Chad) Mills, Thomas (Erin) and Steven;
6 great-grandchildren;
brother, Marko (Marion) Pavlovich;
sisters-in-law, Mary Luella "Lou" Semo, Gertrude "Molly" Backlund and Susan Caruso;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora; daughter, Marilyn Smith; sister, Catherine Maki and brother, Robert Pavlovich.
