TYLER, Daniel Dayton – of Davison, MI, age 76, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024. Cremation has taken place.
Daniel was born in Flint, MI on September 19, 1947, son of the late Dayton and Gladys (Dwyer) Tyler. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1967-1969, where he exemplified dedication and honor. Following his military service, he embarked on a career at AC Spark Plug, where he worked diligently for over 30 years until his retirement. Outside of work, Daniel found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for fishing, finding solace by the water's edge. A true sports enthusiast, he followed the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and Detroit Red Wings with unwavering loyalty, celebrating victories and enduring defeats with equal fervor. Above all, Daniel cherished time spent with his family. His kindness, humor, and wisdom enriched the lives of all who knew him. Daniel will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Judy Tyler; 3 children, Danielle (Joe) Schippono, Troy (Angie) Tyler and Heidi (Aaron) Stefanic; 7 grandchildren, Antonio, Stefano, Kylie, Haylie, Addisyn, Sawyer and Sydnee; great-grandchild, Malaky; brother, Jerry (Brenda) Tyler; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dayton and Gladys Tyler and sister, Marianne Kwiatkowski.
