COOK, Steven W. – Of Goodrich, age 51, died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Angel L. Garcia officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Steven was born in Flint, Michigan on February 8, 1961, son of Wakefield and Joyanne (West) Cook.
He married his high school sweetheart, Lourie Olson on August 20, 1983.
Mr. Cook was employed by Advanced Solutions International.
He enjoyed working in the computer software industry and modern technology.
He was also a big car enthusiast.
Surviving are wife, Lourie;
son, Alexander;
daughter, Shelby;
mother, Joyanne Cook;
sisters, Cindy and husband Jim Lutz of Flint,
Tami and husband Pat Baker of Goodrich;
brother, Wakefield Guy Cook of Burton;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wakefield Cook.
