SHANNON, Michael John - Of Flint, age 42, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at his residence.
Family asks for social distancing during visitation.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Christian Apostolic Church, G-6350 Fenton Road, Flint, Pastor Bryan Spooner officiating.
Burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Fenton.
Visitation 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Michael will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service.
He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching U of M football and the Detroit Red Wings.
Michael was born in Flint, Michigan on March 17, 1978, the son of
Bernard and Cheryl (Hancock) Shannon.
Surviving are brother, David;
many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Cheryl Shannon.
