JOHNSON, Karen B. – Of Flint, age 78, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to VFW Post #822.
Visitation 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
She was an active member of VFW Post #822 for many years.
She enjoyed volunteering and raising money for the Veteran community.
Karen was also Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are children, Kathy DeLong, Marlene (Joe) Crow and Laura (Bryan) Misenheimer;
step-children, William, Jr. (Brenda) Johnson,
Marianne (Bill) Munger and Diane (Greg) Martin;
grandchildren, Crystal Smith, Faith Crow, Chelsea Millard, Allison Misenheimer, Jason Crow, James Peske and Christopher Jordan;
great-grandchildren, Pria Thomas, Diamond Smith, Carlita Peske, Hope Avery, Michael Avery, Logan Jordan and Lorele Jordan;
brothers, Kent Glazier and Charles Glazier.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Jordan and daughter, Darlene Jordan; ex-husband, William Johnson, Sr. and husband Skip Cole; sisters, Billie, Janie, Carol and Janine.
