RAMSEY, Diana Lynn (McNerney) – of Davison, MI, age 70, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. The family will receive visitors 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Monday, January 13, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Scripture Service will be held 6:30 PM Monday, January 13, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Davison Education Foundation, in Lynn’s memory.
Lynn was born in Clare, MI on August 27, 1949, daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy (Burr) McNerney. She married her high school sweetheart Rich Ramsey on June 4, 1971 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Rosebush, MI. Lynn was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She loved cooking, spending time aboard “Miller Time” on Tawas Bay, MI, traveling, gardening, walking with her good friend, Alice Wallberg, making people laugh, serving others and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Lynn is survived by her husband of 48 years, Rich Ramsey; 2 daughters, Teresa Ramsey and Colleen (Antwuan) Ramsey-Parks; 3 grandchildren, Logan, Kennedy and Jace; sister, Mary Bolle; 2 brothers, Bill McNerney and Dave (Linda) McNerney; brother-in-law, Tom Ramsey; sister-in-law, Greta Tigner; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Dorothy McNerney; brother, Dan McNerney; brother-in-law, Bruce Tigner; 2 sisters-in-law, Kathleen McNerney and Denise Ramsey.
The family would like to extend a very sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of McLaren-Flint Cardiac Care Unit for their compassionate and professional care of Lynn.
