RAMSEY, Bernice Emma – of Davison, age 89, passed away December 14, 2017 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Todd Biermann officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday and 10-11 AM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Bernice was born in Hawks, MI on January 6, 1928, daughter of the late Henry and Elsa (Sauer) Krueger. She retired from GM – Ternsteads Fisher Body after 30 years of service. Bernice was the president of VFW Aux. 2777 and she started the official VFW newsletter. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc. Bernice enjoyed singing, dancing watching Family Feud and especially loved spending time with her family and her dog, Charger. She was an avid bowler and golfed in many state tournaments.
Bernice is survived by her daughter, Diane Broughton; grandchildren, Tammy (James) Wolvin, Mike Broughton (fiancée Lisa Swinney) and Jim (Meghan) Broughton; great-grandchildren, Brandon (Michelle) Wolvin, Jesse (Chelsea) Wolvin, Katelyn Broughton, Madison Broughton and Nina Broughton; great great-granddaughter Andrea Wolvin; sister Erma Barber; sister-in-law, Geneva Krueger; many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Gary Broughton; brother Henry Krueger and sister Anita Symons.
