VOLIVA, Elva “Orley” - Of Burton, age 81, died peacefully Thursday, August 6, 2020 surrounded by family.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Burton Eagles #3814 on Bristol Road, Burton, 1pm Saturday, August 15, 2020.
Inurnment at Evergreen Cemetery.
Elva was born in Mississippi on December 13, 1938, the son of the late Boyse and Willine Voliva. He married Ruth Jimmerfield, the love of his life and she preceded him in death. He was a longtime member of Moose Lodge Grand Blanc Lodge #2344 and the Burton Eagles #3814. Elva was a former Golden Gloves boxer. He enjoyed playing pool and golf. He always liked to keep busy and work in his garage. Elva was the kindest of gentlemen and his door was always open to others.
Surviving are sons, Steve and Greg Voliva;
Grandchildren, Mitchell Voliva, Matthew Voliva, Ben VanAllen and Serenity (Jesse) Dankert;
Great-grandchildren, Kennedy Garrett, Nicholas Dankert and Christopher Dankert;
And numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved.
He was preceded in death by his children, Cathy VanAllen and Chuck Copeland, brother, Jack and sister, Reba.
