NIEC, Betty “Diane” – of Davison, age 85, passed away November 13, 2015 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Debbie Line-Yencer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-3 & 5-8 PM Tuesday and 1-2 PM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
Diane was born in Flint, MI on February 13, 1930, daughter of the late Lester and Emma (Neeley) Polhamus. She married Theodore Niec in December of 1954 and he preceded her in death in June of 1991. Diane was a collector of miniatures. She enjoyed gambling and traveling with her boyfriend, Bennie. Diane was a very fun and loving person.
Diane is survived by her children, Jill (Robert) Gill and Robin (Mark) Jankowski; grandchildren, Brent and Brandi Jankowski; sister, June (Gerald) Popilek; boyfriend, Bennie Gullion; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Niec; grandson, Jamison Gill; brother, Charles Polhamus.
