SCRIBNER, Kenneth Arnold – of Clio, age 68, died Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Ascension – Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc. Michigan. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, April 8, 2019 at St. Martin Lutheran Church. Pastor Jim Chinery officiating. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM at the church on Monday, April 8, 2019. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Kenneth was born December 20, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Elbert and Sadie (Brookins) Scribner. He grew up in Clio, Michigan and attended Clio Schools. On April 29, 1972 he married Lona M. Sammons in Otter Lake, Michigan. Kenneth was a member of the St. Martin Lutheran Church and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 3609. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at their cabin in Gladwin, Michigan. Kenneth also liked to putter around in his yard on his John Deere Tractor.
Surviving are: Wife, Lona; Daughter, Onika (Cameron) Scribner; Siblings, Marvin (Kay) Scribner, Jimmy (Mary) Scribner, Larry (Janet) Scribner, Barbara Babcock, Sharon (James) Kinney, Beverly (Kevin) Stevens, Todd (BJ) Scribner; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and beloved sisters in law. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother, Raymond Scribner; Brothers in law, Orley Babcock, Joe Kinney, George Lewis; Sister in law, Linda (Owen) Danner.
