Frank Robert Guysky, age 83, of Roscommon, formerly of Owosso and Corunna, died January 3, 2013 at Chelsea Retirement Center. Visitation will be at Walsh Funeral Home in Roscommon on Monday from 3-7 P.M. with a Rosary at 4 P.M. under the auspices of Knights of Columbus Immaculate Conception Assembly. There will be visitation on Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church in Roscommon from 10 A.M. until Mass at 11 A.M. with a luncheon to immediately follow. Burial will be at Pioneer Cemetery.
Frank was born in Lennon on August 31, 1929, the son of Stanley and Mary (Marczewski) Kruszkowski. He married Ann V. Janca in Owosso on June 6, 1959. He retired in 1985 as a foreman with Midland-Ross Corporation in Owosso after 30 years of service and moved to Roscommon in 1996. A 50 year member of the Knights of Columbus he was an active member of Prince of Peace Council #6593 and Immaculate Conception Assembly #2150 in Roscommon. He was a lifetime member of the Shiawassee Dog & Gun Club where he had been a member for 50 years, and was a member of the NRA. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, gardening, raising chickens, and was a volunteer at Grayling Mercy Hospital and St. Vincent de Paul Society in Roscommon.
Surviving are his wife, Annie; four children, Robert James (Laura) Guysky of Chelsea, Christine Marie Tuma of St. Helen, Jeffrey Mark (Debbie) Guysky of Grafton, WI and Patricia Ann (Ed) Anderson of Dexter; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Wiegel of Owosso; brothers and sisters-in-law, John Conroy of Belding, Joseph (Loretta) Janca of Owosso, Elizabeth Guyski of Ovid, Margaret Guyski of Corunna, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; twin brother, Stanley, and other siblings Cecelia Kruszkowski, Helen Conroy, William, John, Adam, Joseph and Arthur.
