GWINN, Donald Eldred – of Davison, age 83, passed away June 28, 2015 at his home. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Ernest Davis officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 12-2PM Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Deliverance Tabernacle.
Donald was born in Meadow Bridge, WV on September 26, 1931, son of the late Delbert and Mildred (Crow) Gwinn. He married Margaret Shortland on November 20, 1952. She preceded him in death on April 27, 2015. Donald was a member of Deliverance Tabernacle and UAW Local #659. He worked for Grand Blanc Metal Fab.
Donald is survived by his children, Rose (Rick) Brand, Donald (Debbie) Gwinn, Dana (James) Wilson, Deanna (Edward) Ross, Elizabeth Arneson, Tracy (Lee) Cartmell, Jody (Tonya) Gwinn; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; brother, Kelly; sister, Germaine; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Junior and Rex; sister, Linda Lou; son-in-law, David Arneson; grandsons, Richard and Robert Brand.
