REA, Wanda G. - Of Flint, age 81, died Sunday, February 1, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 12pm Thursday, February 5, 2015
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Darrel Smith officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 11am-8pm Wednesday and 10am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Wanda was born in Albertville, Alabama on February 20, 1933, the daughter of the late Vernon and Ella Rogers and was a resident of Flint since 1952. Wanda enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Wanda retired from General Motors Ternstedt Fisher Coldwater Plant and was a member of UAW Local #326.
Surviving are children, Cathy and husband Mike Millmine of Fenton and Steve Rea and girlfriend Gena Goodman of Flint;
grandchildren, Tara, Sada, Don and Anita;
great-grandchildren, Kyla, Ashlyn, Karley, Nash, Devlin, Draven Arianna and Shelby;
brother, Jerry and wife Casey Rogers of Fenton;
and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Athel, brother, Johnny Rogers and sister, Joyce Rodgers.
