Grennay, Raymond H. Age 94, of Swartz Creek, died July 15, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, July 19, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel at our temporary location at Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday and 10 AM - 11 AM Friday at the church. Raymond was born September 14, 1924 in Flint, the son of Vern and Maude (Tolls) Grennay. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. Raymond married Lula Mae Lee on October 18 1952 in Angola, Indiana and she preceded him in death February 14, 2007. He retired from General Motors Truck and Bus after 37 years of service. Surviving are: five children, James (Janet) Grennay of Burton, Mark Grennay of Swartz Creek, Daniel (Ellen) Grennay of AZ, Andy (Pam) Grennay of Flint, and Paula (Larry) Thayer of Gaines; daughter-in-law, Tina Grennay of Flint; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by: his parents and two sons, Vern and Ray Grennay. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
