ERVIN, Jacqueline J. “Jackie” - Of Flint, age 77, died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Regency of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held 11AM Thursday, April 17, 2014
at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 2051 West Maple Avenue, Flint, MI 48507, Reverend Paul Boerger officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Lamb of God Lutheran Church.
Visitation 5-8pm Tuesday and 2-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Mrs. Ervin will be at the church 10am Thursday until the time of the service.
Jacqueline was born in Manistee, MI on September 21, 1936, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Irene Falk, and was a resident of the Flint area most of her life. She married James Ervin on
October 22, 1954 and he preceded her in death on October 27, 2012. She was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church formerly Peace Lutheran Church. Jacqueline was a volunteer at the Burton Senior center for over 25 years. She also enjoyed square dancing, knitting, crocheting and loved to travel.
Surviving are sons, John and wife Deloris of Davison, Jerry and wife Deborah of Shelby Township and Jeffery of Burton;
grandchildren, Eric (Melissa) Ervin, Angela (Jeff) Woods, Dana (Troy) Harrison, Rachel Ervin, Josh Ervin, Amanda (Matt) Kelly;
great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jaden, Lydia, and Logan;
brother, Robert Grinnell; sisters, Evelyn Wilson and Charlotte Lake;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Karen Hopkins and brother-in-law, Herbert Lake.
