LaBARGE, John – of Mt. Morris, age 65, died Saturday, June 9, 2018 at home. Honoring John’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 1PM until the time of service at 3PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
John was born September 3, 1952 in Pontiac, Michigan to Eugene and Hazel (Bogues) LaBarge. He grew up in Centerline, Michigan and graduated from Centerline High School with the class of 1970. On July 31, 1987 he married Rose M. Jennings in Flint, Michigan. Prior to his retirement in 2002, he worked for the Flint Department of Public Works for 25 years. John enjoyed history, politics, watching football, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are: Wife, Rose; Children: Cindy Jones, David Moench, Michelle (David) Edgar, Rachel LaBarge, Carrie LaBarge, Megan Crist, Sabrina LaBarge; 14 Grandchildren: 6 Great Grandchildren; Mother, Hazel LaBarge; Ex-Wife, Debbie Calkins; Sister, Doris Howard; Nephew, Eric Howard; and his dog, Mannie.
