HAROLD ELMER SHEARS, age 83 of Clio, died Saturday, October 22, 2016. His funeral service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Pastor Leonard Marks officiating. Burial will follow in Thetford Twp. Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 and on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 10AM until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Harold was born on October 15, 1933 to John and Hazel Shears. He married Florence Passmore on February 18, 1954. Harold retired from Buick Motors and enjoyed tractors, working in the barn, and his cats. Surviving is his brother, Robert Shears of Clio, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, who passed away on December 22, 1999; parents; brother, Charles; sisters: Mon Edith Hall and Rachel Hurlburt. |
