WHITSON, Timothy – of Lapeer, age 66, passed away December 12, 2016 at his residence. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held 11 AM Friday, January 6, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski celebrant. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Friday at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Timothy was born in Flint, MI on March 1, 1950, son of the late James and Antonina (Buffa) Whitson. He was a 1968 graduate from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Flint. Timothy retired from Delphi. He was a very active member at UAW Local #651 and was elected Committee Representative for many years. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing and he held several Master Angler Awards.
Timothy is survived by his siblings, James (Sharon) Whitson, Sharon R. Whitson, Guy Michael Whitson; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Robert L. Wright and sister, Rita Wallace.
