DOOLIN, Leona M. – of Davison, age 74, passed away February 13, 2013 at McLaren Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2013 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI. Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday and for one hour prior to the service on Monday. A Memorial Service will be held 7 p.m. Sunday under the auspices of the Grand Blanc Loyal Order of the Moose and the Davison and Burton FOE. .
Leona was born December 11, 1938, in Peck, MI; daughter of the late William and Eileen (Siple) McClelland. Leona McClelland married Howard Doolin on June 28, 1957 in Peck. Howard preceded her in death on June 30, 2006. Leona was a member of the Grand Blanc Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #2344, Davison FOE Aerie # 3589, Burton FOE Aerie #3814 and Davison VFW Post # 4087.
Leona is survived by her children, Brent (Pam) Doolin, Marc (Pam) Doolin and Diane (Ron) Sturgeon; grandchildren, Heidi (Brian), Trevor (Leslie), David, Justin, Tyler and Kellen; three great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter ‘on the way’; several brothers and sisters.
