WHARRAM, Ronald E. – Of Burton, age 68, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013
at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the
Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Jason Crum officiating.
Burial in Maple Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to East Flint Church of the Nazarene for the baseball diamond.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ronald married Janice Wright on August 19, 1967 in Flint. He received a Bachelors Degree from Michigan State University. He was a member of the East Flint Church of the Nazarene. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, gardening and watching the Detroit Tigers. Ronald owned and operated Wharram Manufacturing Company/Zygot Operations for 35 years.
Surviving are his
wife, Janice;
children, Ricky and wife Paula, Randy, Robby and wife Jennifer and Julie;
grandchildren, Randi, Hunter, Connor, Jayme, Jordan, Sydney, Reese and Noah;
brother, Richard;
nephews, Ryland and Nathan;
nieces, Jennifer and husband Paul Kern, Tammy and husband Paul LaFergy.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jodi and brother, Sidney Wharram.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Julie on the 12th floor and Christy on the 2nd floor ICU at McLaren-Flint and Ann from McLaren Hospice.
A special thank you to all the hospice staff that had helped Ron.
